HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS

November 28, 2018 —The Winnipeg Civic Employees’ Benefits Program office will see some revised office hours over the holiday season. The office will be closed:

  • Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2018
  • Boxing Day, Wednesday, December 26, 2018
  • New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019

In addition, the office will be closed at NOON on Monday, December 24,

The office will return to regular service hours on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

CHANGES TO CONTRIBUTION RATES - CIVIC EMPLOYEES' GROUP LIFE INSURANCE

January 2018—The City of Winnipeg Civic Employees' Group Life Insurance Plan (the "Plan") is administered by the Board of Directors of The Civic and Police Employees' Group Life Insurance Plans Corporation (the "Board of Directors"), a wholly-owned entity of the City of Winnipeg.

The Board of Directors, on the advice of the Plan’s actuary, has approved changes to contribution rates for group life insurance.  The contribution rate changes are occurring as a result of the favourable financial position of the Plan.

The new rates for employees and pensioners, effective January 2018, are shown in the following Notices to Members:
